The Savory Grape Wine Shop
Customer Satisfaction Survey )

  • We received numerous responses about expanding our beer selection. So we sent our resident beer expert Sabrina Solares into the field to taste many of the best beers that the state has to offer. Thanks to Sabrina's efforts we have an expanded selection of craft beers and microbrews for all you beer lovers to try.
  • You also asked us to carry more cold white wine, sparkling wine and beer, as our refrigerator selection was a tad daunting. Well, we just received another brand new refrigerator! We now we will have more space to hold your favorite whites and a better selection of cold brews. So beginning tomorrow night feel free to stop in to grab your choice of cold wines or beers.
  • Due to the popularity of our under $11 section, we are expanding the selection! But because we don't have the space to make the section bigger, we are simply adding a larger selection of Savory Grape approved under $11 wines! As always, if you don't see your favorite please ask one of our associates. We will be happy to locate it for you.
  • Many also inquired about wines for cellaring, so we have created a separate Collector's Club e-mail list. Anyone who is in the Collector's Club will receive first notifications of limited production, exclusive, high end wines! If you are interested in acquiring highly allocated wines for cellaring, then please sign up for this exclusive e-mail list by responding to directly to Patrick or Jessica at patrick@thesavorygrape.com or jessica@thesavorygrape.com.
  • We also received great interest about offsite private events, such as dinners and classes, but that many of the events were on Monday evenings, which were not convenient for many. To better accommodate other's schedules, we are holding wine dinners, tastings and classes on various days of the week. So always check the newsletter and our web site for the current events. We still have tickets left for the "Train your Palate" wine class this Thursday evening.
  • We know parking on Main Street, as with any small town Main Street, can be a bear. However we don't want that to affect your shopping experience here at The Savory Grape, and one of our customer's put it perfectly saying, "Where else can you do a drive-by and have Nino come out to bring a purchase to your open car window if parking is an issue!" We have call ahead pick up and delivery. Please take advantage of those.

The above mentioned areas were those of concern to the majority. However we have taken note of every comment provided and plan to address them if we haven't done so already. With that said, I want to thank you for participating in the survey and for helping me complete my final research project at Johnson & Wales University, from where I will graduate this weekend. As I head off to Greece in a couple of weeks for an experience of a lifetime, I also want to express gratitude for my time here, not just at TSG, but in East Greenwich. I am fortunate for the friendships I've made with many of you. My favorite part of this job was getting to know everyone who walked into the shop. We all share a passion (and thirst) for knowledge, and to all of you I would like to say, "Thank you for spending the last two years learning about wine with me."
